I doubt there's any such species, but who cares? It's my bird! Would make a good tile, I think.

It looks very much like an ancient Chinese painting with the gold background, Katherine. Perhaps it's a bird from Chinese mythology that you've unconsciously channelled.
ReplyDeleteOMG I just posted on FB that it looked kind of Asian to me! Weird, huh? I started off copying the figure of a blue jay and ended up in China.
